In short: we collect only what you send us through the contact form or by email, we use it solely to reply to your enquiry and carry out any resulting engagement, we do not sell it, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, company, email address and the message you write. If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share.
- Booking information. If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email and chosen time in order to arrange the meeting.
- Basic technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability purposes.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We do not add enquirers to a marketing list or send unsolicited email.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we hold it
We process the information you send in order to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we are a suitable fit, and — where an engagement follows — to deliver and administer that work. Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form, and legitimate interest or contractual necessity thereafter.
Who can see it
Enquiries are read by Troia personnel only. We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: our website host and form service, our email provider, and our scheduling provider. Each is bound to use the information only to provide the service. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
Where it is held, and for how long
Our providers may store data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. We retain enquiry records for up to 24 months from last contact unless an engagement follows, in which case records are kept for the period required by our professional and tax obligations. You may ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
Confidentiality of client information
Information shared with us during an engagement is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties, used in marketing, or identified in published material without written permission. Any examples published on this site are composite or anonymised and are labelled as such.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to our holding it. Write to hello@troia.co.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
